“When I was thinking over and then making the “Miners’ Folklore” project, I didn’t put a problem to make a laughing-stock from the trite collection of the miners’ jokes or to tell the viewer about the hard work of the miners in realistic way with the detailed mechanisms. Instead of this I propose the viewer to look deeper at his life and to think more serious over his destiny. I hope that the viewer will see this real feeling or presentiment, this fear or not clear force, the trust in God, which is the main topic of my works.”
